Uploading Schedules

You can import your site schedules with a properly formatted file by using these steps:

1) Log into the Administration section

2) Click the Schedules menu

3) Click the Games/Practices link

4) Click on the Upload link

Note: There is also an Upload (Interdivisional) option if you are uploading a file that contains games between teams in separate divisions on your site.

5) Click the Choose File button to find the file on your computer.

6) Click the Upload button to import the selected file

Note: The schedule import feature requires that you properly format the file before uploading.

Essentially, all data should be in text, comma separated format (.TXT or .CSV). You can create these easily in Excel, then save as CSV.
Each scheduled game is listed on a separate line, and each line must contain the following information in the format indicated:

Date (m/d/y)
Time (indicate AM or PM)
Division Name (should match info on site)
Location Name (should match info on site)
Home Team Name (should match info on site)
Visiting Team Name (should match info on site)
It can also be helpful to include a header row to clarify what each column is. The data can be in any order but the Team, Location and Division data should match the data on your site EXACTLY or a new record will be created for that item. For example, if you specify the Home Team Name as "Yanks" in your file but it is called "Yankees" on your site, a new team called "Yanks" will be created.
A sample Schedule file in .TXT format would look like this:
Date, Time, Division, Location, Home, Visitor
4/1/16, 6:00pm, Majors, Field A, Yankees, Orioles
4/1/16, 7:30pm, Majors, Field B, Red Sox, Mets
4/4/16, 6:00pm, Minors, Field A, Athletics, Yankees
